At the seminar, Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung shared valuable working experiences summarized through years working in the diplomatic service and spent a lot of time answering questions from the attended officers. The Ambassador's experiences cited at the seminar were from different areas such as reception, citizen protection, local external affairs, Vietnamese image promotion, strategic research, site research…
Through the Ambassador's sharing, the young officers attended the seminar understood more about the difficulties and “behind-the-scenes” stories in foreign affairs, dealing with foreign crisis, especially experiences in handling matters such as communication and internal affairs management, domestic agencies coordination. He also shared experiences in making use of the network of Vietnamese representative missions in foreign countries and international organizations; the importance of building relationships with local governments, community work...

When advising young diplomats, Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung said that young people need to cultivate a passion for the profession, be ready to take on all jobs in difficult working areas. When working with the spirit of dedication, daring to think, learn, and propose ideas, young officers will see the meaning of life and be more proud of their career.
Delivering his closing remarks at the seminar, Dr. Le Dinh Tinh, Director of the Institute of Strategic Studies, on behalf of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, thanked Ambassador Doan Xuan Hung for his wholehearted sharing and expressed wishes that he would continue to inspire his passion for career, experience and knowledge for young diplomats in the future.
