Positioning Vietnam's national brand through cultural diplomacy

On May 27, 2025, the Communist Journal published a research paper entitled "Positioning Vietnam's national brand through cultural diplomacy", conducted by Ph.D Lê Vũ Điệp together with student Vũ Thị Minh Phương from the Faculty of FICC, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

In the context of globalization and international integration, the reputation and positive image of a nation are considered key factors in promoting socio-economic development and enhancing competitiveness. Nations can build their brands in various ways, among which promoting and disseminating national cultural identity is an effective approach. As one of the three pillars of Vietnam’s diplomacy, culture increasingly plays an important role in building the national brand and creating a positive image of the country.
