Scholarship for students of the Faculty of International Law

On December 6th, the Faculty of International Law held a scholarship award ceremony to honor students who achieved impressive academic results despite being impacted by Typhoon Yagi. Representatives from Generali Vietnam and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) attended the ceremony.

Mr. Tran Huu Duy Minh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Law, Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, Lecturer of the Faculty of International Law and Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Senior Director and Head of Business Development for the Northern Agent Channel of Generali Vietnam.

Representing Generali Vietnam, Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Senior Director and Head of Business Development for the Northern Agent Channel, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for being part of the event. She shared that the scholarships were part of a social project initiated by Generali Vietnam to support communities affected by the typhoon. Beyond its commercial endeavors, Generali Vietnam is deeply committed to promoting the shared prosperity of society. Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Anh also extended a warm invitation to staff and students of the Faculty of International Law to visit Generali Vietnam’s office, which is recognized as one of the top-tier life insurance companies for service quality and administration. Additionally, she expressed a strong desire to recruit DAV students, particularly those from the Faculty of International Law, for key positions within the company.

Responding to the sincerity of Generali Vietnam, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, expressed her gratitude to Generali Vietnam for its meaningful contributions to society. Reflecting on her own college experience, Dr. Thin shared how receiving a scholarship provided her with the courage and motivation to pursue a career as both a diplomat and an educator. She emphasized her pride in DAV students’ adaptability and readiness to excel in both public and private sectors, echoing Generali’s desire to employ DAV alumni. Dr. Thin also thanked the Faculty of International Law for its continued efforts to support students through various projects.

Speaking on behalf of the scholarship recipients, Truong Thi Ngoc Lan expressed her deep gratitude to DAV, the Faculty of International Law, and Generali Vietnam. She extended her best wishes for Generali Vietnam’s success and its continued growth alongside the nation’s prosperity.

The ceremony was one of many initiatives organized by the Faculty of International Law to support students academically and in extracurricular pursuits.
