On September 5th, 2025 the Japanese Studies Department, in collaboration with ChuraChura, successfully organized a talk show titled "Japanese Cuisine and the Integration of Foreigners into Japanese Society. The event featured speakers from various fields including culture, education, society, and economics. These included Ms. Endo Yuko, a flower arrangement artist; Mr. Mukai Akihidhi, Director of Corporate Social Welfare; and Mr. Toshiyuki Rikitake, Director of Mirix Food Import-Export Company.
Through the insightful sharing of the guest speakers, students gained valuable knowledge and new perspectives on the culture, customs, and lifestyle of the Land of the Rising Sun.
For individuals planning to study or work in Japan, the talk show provided invaluable practical experience. These shared experiences not only helped them prepare better but also laid a solid foundation for quickly integrating and adapting to the living and working environment in this country.
Finally, ChuraChura would like to express our deepest gratitude to the three speakers, Ms. Endo Yuko, Mr. Mukai Akihisa, and Mr. Toshiyuki Rikitake. At the same time, Chura also thanks the lecturers of the Japanese Studies major for their unwavering support and for creating the best conditions for the talk show to be a resounding success.
