Welcome Freshmen K51 - KEY TO U-TOPIA

Organized by the Youth Union of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, KEY TO U-TOPIA introduced a series of diverse and engaging activities, including the “Key-Frame”' video competition and the “Key-Hunt” challenge. Notably, the Cultural Festival and the “Into the Beyond” Gala offered new students exciting and unforgettable experiences. The 2024 Freshmen Welcome Program not only marked the beginning of their university life but also opened the door to new journeys and opportunities throughout their four years at the Academy.

During the program, the Cultural Festival unfolded in a vibrant and colorful atmosphere. Student teams collaborated to conceptualize and decorate cultural booths representing traditional festivals from various countries around the world. Demonstrating remarkable creativity, the teams crafted artistic handmade products and transformed their booths into unique cultural spaces, leaving strong impressions with engaging activities inspired by international festive themes.

Continuing the spirit of the Freshmen Welcome Program, the Gala presented an emotional and artistically rich evening. Performances were carefully prepared, both in concept and execution, by Utopians K51. The Gala was graced by the presence of the judging panel, including: Nguyen Dong Anh - Secretary of the Youth Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Director (Trainee) of the Center for Information and Documentation, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Communication and External Culture; Nguyen Phu Tan Huong - Former Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy; Tran Huu Duy Minh - Deputy Head of the Faculty of International Law, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Diplomatic Academy; Nguyen Vinh Thanh - Lecturer, Faculty of International Economics, Secretary of the Lecturers’ Youth Branch; Pham Hoang Son - Lecturer, Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy. The Gala also welcomed the enthusiastic participation of a large number of K51 freshmen.

Concluding the Freshmen Welcome Program - KEY TO U-TOPIA, outstanding teams were honored with awards recognizing their impressive performances. The results included:

Once again, the Organizing Committee of “Freshmen Welcome K51 - KEY TO U-TOPIA” sincerely thanks all K51 freshmen for their enthusiastic participation. To the Organizing Committee, each team represented unity, talent, and creativity, contributing significantly to the success of this year’s program.

We hope that through this event, K51 students have built new connections, formed lasting bonds, and are ready to embrace new university experiences over the next four years - true to the spirit of the 2024 Freshmen Welcome journey: “KEY TO U-TOPIA.”
