Within the framework of the competition “Students with Entrepreneurial Ideas in the Field of Education 2025” organized by the Faculty of English, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Team FUTURESCHOLARS AI introduced FutureScholars AI – an intelligent virtual assistant platform applying Generative Artificial Intelligence to support Vietnamese students in preparing study-abroad applications and participating in international exchange programs.

Project Concept and Objectives

FutureScholars AI was developed in response to long-standing challenges in the study-abroad consulting market, including high costs, limited transparency, heavy dependence on human consultants, low levels of personalization, and the risk of inaccurate or inconsistent information. At the same time, many students face difficulties when preparing applications independently due to unclear orientation, fragmented processes, and scattered information sources.

The project aims to build an all-in-one digital platform that automates and standardizes the entire study-abroad preparation process—from profile assessment and academic–career orientation to academic writing support and interview training—thereby saving time and costs while improving application effectiveness for learners.

Solution and Key Values

FutureScholars AI integrates the full study-abroad journey into a unified system with the following core features:

  • Automated profile evaluation, analyzing applicants’ strengths, weaknesses, and suitability for specific programs;
  • Personalized academic and career pathways, generated through real data and personality assessments;
  • AI Mentor Buddy, a 24/7 chatbot providing continuous study-abroad guidance;
  • AI-powered academic writing tools supporting Statements of Purpose, essays, and CVs;
  • Virtual admissions interview simulations with AI-based feedback;
  • Application progress tracking and management system.

With the guiding message “Accompanying learners in shaping their future,” the project delivers practical value to multiple stakeholder groups: students seeking clear and personalized study-abroad pathways; parents who prioritize transparency, effectiveness, and cost optimization; and educational institutions and consulting centers aiming to integrate technology into international admissions support.

Feasibility and Development Potential

FutureScholars AI is built upon a clear and scalable business model, combining B2C services for students and parents with B2B partnerships involving schools and study-abroad consulting organizations. By leveraging AI-driven automation, the platform significantly shortens application preparation time and reduces costs compared to traditional consulting models, creating a sustainable competitive advantage.

Evaluation by the Judging Panel

With its modern technological approach, strong entrepreneurial mindset, and high practical applicability, FutureScholars AI received positive evaluations from the Judging Panel. The project demonstrated strong potential to become a prominent EdTech solution in the field of study-abroad consulting and international exchange support in Vietnam.

As a result, Team FUTURESCHOLARS AI was awarded Second Prize, recognizing the project’s creativity, feasibility, and long-term development orientation.
