Announcement on the quality assurance threshold and score differences among subject combinations for the admission method based on the results of the 2025 national high school graduation exam

ANNOUNCEMENT

On the Quality assurance threshold and Score differences among subject combinations for the admission method based on the results of the 2025 National high school graduation exam 

- Pursuant to the Regulations on Admission to Undergraduate Programs and Admission to College-level Programs in Early Childhood Education programs, issued together with Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated 6 June 2022 and amended and supplemented by Circular No. 06/2025/TT-BGDĐT dated 19 March 2025 by the Minister of Education and Training;

- Pursuant to the 2025 Implementation Plan for Admission to Undergraduate Programs and Admission to College-level Programs, issued together with Decision No. 1363/QĐ-BGDĐT dated 19 May 2025 by the Minister of Education and Training;

- Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 2457/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated 19 May 2025 of the Ministry of Education and Training providing Guidance on Admission to Undergraduate Programs and Admission to College-level Programs;

- Pursuant to Decision No. 450/QĐ-HVNG dated 26 March 2025 by the President of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam on the establishment of the 2025 Undergraduate Admissions Council;

- Pursuant to the 2025 Admission Information of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam;

- Pursuant to the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam;

- On the basis of referencing score distributions, percentiles of total scores for certain subject combinations using the National High School Graduation Exam results after calibration by the Ministry of Education and Training, and statistics and evaluation of the academic performance of students admitted to the Academy in previous years,

The 2025 Undergraduate Admissions Council of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam hereby announces the Quality Assurance Threshold and score differences among subject combinations for the admission method based on the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam, as follows:

1. Quality Assurance Threshold of the year 2025

- For candidates applying under the Priority Admission method (Method 1 – Section 2.1.2 of the 2025 Admission Information), the Combined Admission method based on High School Academic Results and International Certificates (Method 2 – Section 2.2), and the Admission method based on the results of the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam (Method 4 – Section 2.4), the Quality Assurance Threshold (on a 30-point scale, including both regional and candidate category priority points) is as follows:

Notes:

• The Quality Assurance Threshold is calculated based on the total score of the three subjects in any subject combination used by the Academy for the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam.
• Candidates may use converted scores from international certificates in accordance with the Academy’s regulations to calculate the Quality Assurance Threshold.

- For candidates who graduated from high school prior to 2025 and apply under Method 2 – Section 2.2 of the Admission Information: The Quality Assurance Threshold is applied according to the Academy’s threshold in the year the candidate graduated.

- For candidates using A-level certificates from the Cambridge Assessment International Education (United Kingdom) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (Method 3 – Section 2.3 of the Admission Information), the quality assurance threshold is 24 points, based on the total converted admission score.

2. Score Differences Among Subject Combinations for the Admission Method Based on the 2025 National High School Graduation Exam

- The C00 subject combination is 3 points higher than the D01 subject combination.

- There is no score difference among the following subject combinations: A00, A01, D01, D03, D04, D06, DD2, D07, D09, D10, D14, and D15.
