

On June 29, the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) held a ceremony for the Announcement and Presentation of FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) Accreditation Certificates to eight of its academic programmes. The occasion marked a significant milestone, recognizing the collective efforts of the DAV’s leadership, faculty members, staff, and students in advancing the quality of education in line with internationally recognized FIBAA standards. It also reaffirmed DAV's commitment to its mission of training highly qualified human resources for Viet Nam.

Attending the ceremony, representatives from FIBAA included Ms. Friderike Odrowski and Ms. Rebekka Welker, FIBAA Project Managers. Representing the DAV were Dr. Nguyen Hung Son - President of DAV; Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin - Vice President of DAV; together with representatives from the Department of Undergraduate and Graduate Training, the Faculties of International Politics and Diplomacy, International Law, International Economics, International Communication and Culture, and Foreign Languages, as well as lecturers, staff members, and students of the DAV.

In his remarks, Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, President of DAV, emphasized that obtaining FIBAA International Accreditation Certificates represents not only a major achievement but also the beginning of a new phase of continuous improvement and development. He noted that the DAV would continue reviewing and enhancing its curricula, innovating teaching and learning methodologies, improving student support services, strengthening faculty development, promoting scientific research, and expanding international cooperation. These efforts, he stressed, would further enhance DAV's standing within the international higher education community.

On behalf of FIBAA, Ms. Friderike Odrowski and Ms. Rebekka Welker presented the FIBAA International Accreditation Certificates to representatives of the DAV’s eight accredited academic programmes. Congratulating DAV on completing the accreditation process, the FIBAA representatives commended the DAV for achieving international quality standards across all eight undergraduate programmes. They noted that this accomplishment reflects the DAV’s systematic and comprehensive approach to programme standardization while fostering innovation in teaching, learning, and assessment based on clearly defined learning outcomes and measurable quality criteria. Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving higher education landscape, FIBAA also expressed its commitment to continuing its partnership with higher education institutions in enhancing academic quality and advancing research excellence.



In her closing remarks, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Vice President of DAV, reaffirmed the DAV’s commitment to continuously improving its academic programmes in accordance with international standards and promoting digital transformation to further enhance educational quality, student support services, and the overall learning environment. She also expressed her hope that DAV would continue to receive FIBAA's professional guidance and expertise in quality assurance, academic enhancement, and scientific research.
