On April 14, at DAV Open House 2024 Admission Consultancy Day, the Faculty of International Economics successfully organized a series of admissions consulting activities including: consulting booths, academy tours, simulation classes, meeting with students and parents, etc.
The consulting booths of the Faculty of International Economics with two main majors, International Economics and International Business, have attracted many parents and students. The lecturers of the Faculty of International Economics as well as the students of the Faculty were extremely enthusiastic to introduce and answer any concerns of students and parents related to the curriculum, learning environment, job opportunities, etc. When students came to the consulting booths, they also received various souvenirs of the Faculty such as keychains, FOIE pencils, brochures, etc.
In addition, students also had the opportunity to attend simulation classes of two majors of the Faculty of International Economics. These classes were taught by experienced lecturers of the Faculty, who are also Ambassadors, diplomats, and experts with teaching and research experience, as well as practical experience in the fields of international economics and international business. Specifically, the simulation classes of International Economics were taught by the Ambassador, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan and Ambassador Tao Thi Thanh Huong, those of International Business were taught byAssoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Lich and Dr. Nguyen Minh Trang. With extensive knowledge and engaging teaching styles, the lecturers have made the lecture content more accessible and interesting to students, thereby helping them better understand the subject and research issues of the two majors International Economics and International Business of the Faculty.
During this year's DAV Open House, the Faculty of International Economics specially organized a meeting with students and parents who are interested in learning more about the two majors offered by the Faculty. The meeting, with the participation of all faculty members, began with an introduction by Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong, Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Economics, about the formation and development of the department, the faculty members, and the outstanding features of the two majors: International Economics and International Business. Particularly, Dr. Minh Phuong emphasized the quality of students, which the Department of International Economics and the Academy are extremely proud of, evidenced most clearly by the impressive achievements of alumni who hold important positions in state agencies and large corporations after graduation. Following Dr. Minh Phuong's presentation, many students and parents had more specific questions for the faculty regarding the curriculum, career opportunities, etc., all of which were answered thoroughly and enthusiastically by the faculty.
