EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITY AT VPS SECURITIES JOINT STOCK COMPANY

The event welcomed:

At the beginning of the session, speakers from VPS shared insights on stocks and corporate financial statements. With in-depth expertise and extensive experience in finance and securities, Mr. Lê Đức Khánh and Mr. Nguyễn Đăng Phú Đức provided important perspectives on methods of stock analysis, approaches to evaluating corporate financial statements, and key considerations when investing in the stock market. They also introduced different methods of financial statement analysis, helping students better understand essential indicators in investment decision-making.

During the seminar, students had the opportunity to ask direct questions to the experts regarding stock analysis techniques, career prospects in finance and securities, and the skills required to become a professional financial analyst.

To express gratitude for the speakers’ contributions, Dr. Nguyễn Xuân Đông and Dr. Nguyễn Vinh Thành represented the Faculty of International Economics in presenting flowers and souvenirs, along with sincere appreciation to the experts at VPS.

At the end of the program, students toured the VPS office and learned about the professional working environment of one of Vietnam’s leading securities firms. They were also introduced to VPS’s internship programs, including:

• Paid Internship (supporting real projects), and
  
  
• Securities Collaborator Program (designed for students pursuing a long-term career in finance).
  

  

The extra-curricular activity at VPS provided valuable knowledge on financial investment and opened opportunities for students to gain practical exposure to the securities sector. The Faculty of International Economics hopes that this activity not only enriched students’ learning experience but also supported them in shaping clearer career directions for the future.
