FIPAD Career Orientation Program 2025: Field trip to the VOV World (VOV5)

On the morning of December 26th, amidst the bustling atmosphere of the year-end, as part of the 2025 Career Orientation Program of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, a field trip to the VOV World (VOV5) of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) took place in a lively and inspiring manner.

To begin the program, the students had the opportunity to observe the working areas and specialized departments, as well as learn about the production process of foreign affairs radio content at VOV5. Through enthusiastic, specific, and engaging sharing from the editors, the students not only gained a better understanding of the organizational structure, functions, and tasks of the Foreign Affairs Department, but also acquired a practical perspective on how to apply the knowledge learned at the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy to the professional work at VOV5.

Beyond simply observing, the students also had the opportunity to directly experience recording radio news in the studio, transforming themselves into real broadcasters. This was a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience, familiarizing students with a professional working environment and receiving valuable professional feedback from experienced professionals. Through this, they were able to assess their own abilities, better define their future career paths, and gain a comprehensive understanding of the requirements and responsibilities of various positions within the VOV5.

The field trip to the VOV5 not only provided valuable practical knowledge but also inspired students' learning and career aspirations, helping them bridge the gap between theory and practice, and opening up new perspectives on career opportunities related to the training program of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy.
