Former Vietnamese Ambassador Pham Viet Anh launches book on The Netherlands

A highly anticipated book launch event and talkshow took place at the Thai Room of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam on Friday, November 24th, marking the release of the book: "Kingdom of Netherlands - Keywords for Success and Uniqueness", authored by the Former Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands, His Honorable Pham Viet Anh. The event was hosted by the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in association with Tre Publishing House.

The book, authored by the esteemed diplomat, delves into the multifaceted relationship between Vietnam and the Kingdom of Netherlands, exploring the key factors that have contributed to the success and uniqueness of the Netherlands as a nation. The book offers readers a comprehensive analysis of the Netherlands' success, focusing on key aspects such as innovation, sustainable development, and the country's unique social and political structure. Through a series of case studies and personal anecdotes, the author explores the Dutch approach to economic prosperity, environmental sustainability, and social equality.

Distinguished guests such as the Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Vietnam Kees Van Baar, the Former Vice Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Ha Huy Thong, the Deputy Director of the Centre of Information and Documentation Nguyen Viet Kien, the Deputy Director of Tre Publishing House and members of the diplomatic community gathered at the event to celebrate the launch and gain insights from the extensive knowledge and experiences shared in the book. The Thai Room, adorned with elegant decorations and a warm ambiance, provided an ideal setting for the occasion.

During the event, the former Vietnamese Ambassadors expressed their gratitude to the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and Tre Publishing House for hosting the launch and extended his appreciation to the attendees for their support. He emphasised the importance of fostering strong diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Netherlands, highlighting the potential for increased collaboration and mutual understanding between the two nations.

As attendees mingled and engaged in discussions, the book launch served as a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring opportunities for further cooperation between Vietnam and the Netherlands. Copies of "Kingdom of Netherlands - Keywords for Success and Uniqueness" were made available to attendees, who eagerly sought to delve into the wealth of knowledge contained within its pages. Hoang Tran Luu Ly, a student of the Faculty of International Economics,  expressed her enthusiasm, stating: “As a student of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, I always want to learn more about other countries and their cultures. Being here and learning about the experience of the accomplished ambassadors is such a privilege. I think this book is a real page-turner.”
