French Language Division of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam receives representatives from Asia-Pacific Regional Office of Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF)

On July 14th, 2020, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam was pleased to welcome the Representative from the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), Mr. Chékou Oussouman, and other representatives of the Office to a working visit.

The Francophone specialized group of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, representing the Academy, welcomed and had a discussion with Mr. Chékou Oussouman and other representatives, on the situation of Francophone cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and its Francophone partners, including the OIF. The OIF delegation highly appreciates the successes in training, as well as research, within the framework of the Academy's Francophone Cooperation, such as improving the quality of enrollment and training quality, implementing international Francophone projects, accomplishing successes in the Francophone-linked Master program. The Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam also said that from the next school year, the Academy will have supplementary recruitment, increasing the target number of French language students; planning to orgranize high-quality French classes; developing international cooperation projects in the framework of the French language.

On the OIF side, Mr. Chékou Oussouman emphasized that the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam is a traditional and promising partner of the OIF. At the same time, the Academy is a prestigious training base for high-quality human resources of the Francophone Community. The talk took place with an open spirit and received constructive contributions from both sides on the prospects and challenges in the upcoming cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Chékou Oussouman expressed his delight at the results of the meeting and highly appreciated the bilateral cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the OIF in the Francophone cooperation.
