Within the framework of the competition “Students with Entrepreneurial Ideas in the Field of Education 2025” organized by the Faculty of English, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, Team MENTORA+ introduced MENTORA+ – a technology-based mentor–mentee connection platform designed to build a comprehensive academic and career orientation ecosystem for students.

Project Concept and Objectives

MENTORA+ was developed in response to a common challenge faced by many students today: the lack of clear academic and career direction, limited access to personalized guidance, insufficient self-assessment tools, and weak connections to suitable internship and career opportunities.

The project aims to address this gap by offering a structured mentor–mentee matching and guidance model, combining the analytical capacity of artificial intelligence (AI) with the experiential value of human mentorship. Through this integration, MENTORA+ seeks to provide learners with personalized learning and career development pathways from an early stage.

Solution and Key Values

MENTORA+ delivers a 360-degree support ecosystem that accompanies learners throughout their academic and professional journey, including:

  • Personalized academic and career orientation, based on data-driven assessments of learners’ interests, abilities, and goals;
  • Customized development roadmaps, supported by AI and continuously refined through mentor supervision, progress tracking, and skills development;
  • Mentoring and internship connections, enabling learners to gain real-world exposure and evaluate their career suitability through practical experience.

This integrated model generates value for multiple stakeholders:

  • For mentees (students): clearer direction, access to appropriate mentors, and improved readiness for internships and employment;
  • For mentors: opportunities to share expertise, develop mentoring skills, build personal professional profiles, and generate income;
  • For educational institutions and enterprises: access to a better-prepared talent pool that has undergone early orientation and structured skill development.

Feasibility and Development Potential

MENTORA+ is built upon a well-defined business model, with revenue streams derived from mentoring services, premium platform features, and B2B partnerships with educational institutions and enterprises. The platform’s scalable technological infrastructure and planned deeper integration of AI position the project for long-term and sustainable growth amid increasing demand for academic and career guidance among young people.

In addition, the project has already achieved initial positive outcomes, including the development of a minimum viable product (MVP), the formation of a mentor community, early user engagement, and the establishment of strategic partnerships in the education and study-abroad consulting sectors.

As a result, Team MENTORA+ was awarded the title “Project with a Clear Business Model”, recognizing the project’s feasibility and potential contribution to education and career development.
