Seminar "Policies and activities to promote agricultural exports: The case of OCOP products"

During the seminar, the Organization Committee of the Economist Up 2024 Competition is extremely honored to receive the attention and companionship of speaker Phuong Dinh Anh - Deputy Chief of the Central New Rural Coordination Office, who is in charge of the OCOP Program, the guidance of MC Do Van Linh, and the presence of Dr. Nguyen Vinh Thanh - Lecturer of the Faculty of International Economics, member of the Advisory Board. In addition, the organization committee is delighted with the participation of the Top 08 teams of Economist Up 2024 and students of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

In the first session of the discussion, speaker Phuong Dinh Anh shared his enthusiasm, impression and insight about the OCOP Program, including the explanation and full analysis of the nature and value of OCOP products, thereby helping candidates have a more comprehensive view of "New Countryside" and the process of policy research to promote Vietnamese OCOP products to reach out internationally. Accordingly, Mr. Phuong Dinh Anh had interesting connections with OCOP Korea, OCOP Japan, etc. and drew lessons for OCOP Vietnam in exporting "Agricultural Economics". It can be said that the sharing of speaker Phuong Dinh Anh gave the participants knowledge about 3 main issues: Overview of OCOP Program, Policy on exporting OCOP products, and Solutions to promote export of OCOP products.

At the second session, the students had the opportunity to discuss with speaker Phuong Dinh Anh more about the topic of the seminar, especially the participating teams had the opportunity to share their problems in the journey of "Enhancing Vietnamese Agricultural products" and received very insightful, detailed and thorough advice of the speaker. The Organization Committee believed that, after the seminar, the Top 8 teams have received a lot of useful knowledge and experience, thereby having effective applications in the problem solving process.
