Students of the Faculty of International Economics continue to perform excellently at YICMG 2022 competition

Recently, the YICMG 2022 Final Round, the "Youth Innovation Competition on Lancang-Mekong Region's Governance 2022" competition was successfully held on September 15th to August 18th, 2022 on the Dingtalk platform. Representatives of the Faculty of International Economics - Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam coming to YICMG 2022 this year are two competing teams: "InfoVaccine" including Le Thi Ngoc Anh - KT47C, Nguyen Thi Hong Anh - KT47C, Do Thu Phuong KT47C and "COCO TEAM" including Le Nguyen Chi - KDQT48C1, Pham Thi Kim Dung - KTQT48C1 and Le Minh Khue - KTQT48C1. In particular, among of extremely strong teams from countries in the region, "COCO TEAM" excellently won the highest award: "The Best Project For Incubation".

YICMG is an annual competition with the purpose of encouraging the young generation to come up with practical ideas to solve ongoing problems in the Mekong River basin. "Conquering" the arena in 2022, COCO TEAM brings an extremely unique idea: using coconut fiber to produce face masks. With this interesting idea, the excellent competition team of the Faculty of International Economics successfully conveyed the message of protecting the environment and protecting people's health in the context of problems of pollution and ecological insecurity that are directly threatening human health. Besides, the judges highly appreciated the English level, confidence, professionalism and answer quality of students from the Faculty of International Economics of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

Sharing about the journey of participating in YICMG 2022, COCO TEAM emphasizes the team spirit and passion for research, especially the enthusiastic support from Mr. Nguyen Van Lich and Ms. Nguyen Minh Trang as well as the encouragement of other teachers in the Faculty, predecessors have helped them to overcome difficulties and obstacles during project implementation.

 

The Faculty of International Economics would like to congratulate Info Vaccine and COCO TEAM for completing the extremely wonderful journey of YICMG 2022, becoming the pride of the Faculty and giving great motivation and inspiration to other students. Others in the Faculty actively participate in research activities and useful and interesting competitions.
