

The evaluation board consisted of: Associate Professor Dr. Tu Thuy Anh (Head of the Faculty of International Economics, Foreign Trade University) - Chairman of the Board, and board members including Associate Professor Dr. Ho Dinh Bao (Head of the Faculty of Economics, National Economics University), Dr. Doan Ngoc Thang (Lecturer, Banking Academy), Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc (Lecturer, National Economics University), Dr. Ngo Duy Ngo (Former Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy), Dr. Pham Lan Dung (Acting Director of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam); Nguyen Viet Anh (Deputy Director of the Personnel and Organization Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

In the opening remarks at the evaluation session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Lich - representative of the Faculty of International Economics, Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, presented a summary of the development process and the content of the undergraduate program of the International Business major. With the support of a team of experienced lecturers and industry-leading experts, the undergraduate program of the International Business major has been developed and has received valuable suggestions. Furthermore, Dr. Lam Thanh Ha also gave a report on the undergraduate program of the International Business major. The content of the program updates on essential theories and practices of the field.
During the evaluation session, the board members highly appreciated the necessity of providing undergraduate education in the International Business major; the elaborate and scientific design of the program; the appropriate duration and target audience of the program; and the assurance of quality evaluation methods. All courses/subjects are clearly outlined in terms of objectives, detailed content, appropriate teaching methods, consistent evaluation methods, and sufficient reference materials.
According to the board’s evaluation, the content of the program is closely developed according to the training objectives of the International Business major. Graduates will correspond with the human resource requirements for international business in various economic sectors and parts which are suitable for the country's socio-economic development in the coming period.
Additionally, the board members expressed their wish for the International Economics Department - Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam to improve the quality and quantity of competent and qualified lecturers to meet the training requirements of the International Business major. With many years of experience in educating International Business at the National Economics University and the Banking Academy, Dr. Nguyen Bich Ngoc and Dr. Doan Ngoc Thang also shared valuable experiences for further scientific and reasonable adjustments to the program.




At the end of the program, the evaluation board members unanimously approved the program and proposed further improvements based on the board's suggestions, the International Economics Department - Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam should soon complete the plan and proceed with the next steps according to the procedure to report to the authorized agency for consideration and approval of the opening of the undergraduate program of the International Business major.
