The Office of Testing and Quality Assurance

The Office of Testing and Quality Assurance (OTQA), under the Department of Education and Training of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), is responsible for advising on and implementing all assessment and quality assurance activities at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV). The Office ensures fairness, transparency, and full compliance with regulations across the entire assessment process, including planning, examination administration, and the management and storage of test papers and the item bank, as well as providing guidance and oversight on relevant policies.

OTQA also serves as the central unit for managing DAV’s internal quality assurance system. The Office monitors teaching, research, and community engagement activities across all DAV’s units; gathers and analyses feedback from stakeholders; and offers consultation and support to help units meet quality standards and promote continuous improvement.

In addition, the Office coordinates self-assessment and external evaluation processes, develops follow-up improvement plans, and tracks their implementation to ensure the ongoing enhancement of the Academy’s educational quality.
