Two outstanding teams of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam win the 25th Euréka Student Scientific Research Award

Among the teams of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam participating in this 25th Euréka competition, the team from the Faculty of International Economics together with the representatives from the Faculty of English excellently advanced to the final round.

The TA47C1 team research received the Consolation Prize in the field of Social Science for the topic "A critical discourse analysis of Rishi Sunak's first speech as Prime Minister of the UK". With the dedicated guidance of Ms. Pham Thi Quyen, the group's topic won the first prize in the Scientific Research Seminar of the Faculty of English. This milestone motivated the research team to develop the topic and bring it to the Euréka Competition with the desire to bring the outstanding research field of the Faculty of English of Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam closer to interested students nationwide.

The team representing the Faculty of International Economics participating in this competition is also the Champion team of the Economist Up - Integration Journey 2023 - The Flying Kite team, including 5 members: Nguyen Thi Thuy Duong – KTQT48A1, Truong Thi Tuyet – KTQT48A1, Nguyen Thi Thanh Van – KTQT48A1, Hoang Thi Thanh Truc – KTQT48A1, Vu Tran Yen Chi - KTQT49C1.

Under the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong – Vice Dean of the Faculty of International Economics, the group won the Consolation Prize at the Final Round of this Euréka Competition with the topic "Solutions to promote the export of Ben Tre green-skinned pomelo to the Japanese market". In addition, the group was also awarded a specific prize for the topic with practical application and the research project was simultaneously transferred to the Ben Tre Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Right after winning the Economist Up 2023 contest, the team immediately started to improve the topic and registered for the Semi-final of the Euréka Award. The team excellently defended the topic in an online-connected session with the Board of judges and successfully advanced to the final round. Continuing the journey, Dr. Nguyen Thi Minh Phuong wholeheartedly guided and oriented to upgrade the topic for the team. As a result, through a period of diligent preparation, the team was able to complete the topic and enter the final round in the best mood.

This is an extremely worthy result of relentless endeavors of the teacher and students of the Faculty of International Economics during the past time. Congratulations to the team for successfully completing their part and winning high prizes in this year's competition, bringing pride to the Faculty of International Economics in particular and Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam in general.
