In response to the Vietnamese Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21, the Library Department, the Information and Documentation Center of the Diplomatic Academy in collaboration with the DAV Book Lovers Club organized a series of events "The Days of Blooming Flowers". With two main activities being the book exhibition "The Days of Blooming Flowers" and the Talkshow "Writing History", the series of events hopes to spread the reading culture, arousing the love of history for students of the Diplomatic Academy in particular and young people in general.

The exhibition "Days of Blossoming Flowers" is open to the public from April 15-17, 2024, in the lobby of Building D, Diplomatic Academy. Taking the theme of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on April 30, 1975, the exhibition will display books and pictures depicting the Ho Chi Minh Campaign and the historic day of April 30, 1975.
As part of the series of events, the Talkshow "Writing History" was held at 6:30 p.m. on April 22, 2024 at Hall A, Diplomatic Academy. With the message "Our people must know our history, to understand the origin of Vietnam.", the talk show hopes to arouse in young people, especially students of the Diplomatic Academy, a love and passion for learning about the country's history through real stories about the nation's long resistance war, and the sharing of real experiences recorded in books by writers and poets who grew up from the flames of war.

The series of events "Blooming Flowers" 2024 not only helps raise young people's awareness of the importance of finding, reading and understanding the country's history, arousing interest and love for this subject, but also aims to spread reading culture, emphasize the importance of reading in acquiring knowledge, training personality and encouraging them to join hands in building an increasingly strong reading culture among the young generation of Vietnam.
