The discussion also focused on how small and middle powers (including ASEAN) can use their influence strategically to shape global order in a COVID-19 environment. The experts agreed that ASEAN together with Australia and New Zealand should work toward cooperation frameworks, particularly for the post- COVID-19 recovery.
