The event opened with remarks from Mr. Tran Van Khai, Representative of the Organizing Committee, who introduced the FOIE Workshop 2024 series and expressed sincere appreciation to faculty members, guests, speakers, sponsors, and media partners for their support. The Organizing Committee also presented bouquets of flowers as a gesture of gratitude to the speakers, sponsors, and partners.

The first part of the Workshop was led by speaker Tran Khanh Tu, who shared insights on useful AI tools and how to apply them to optimize academic performance. He encouraged students to continuously learn and leverage AI to enhance their studies. Notably, he conducted a live demonstration using ChatGPT, giving students a practical and intuitive understanding of how AI can support their learning—from gathering information and conducting analysis to creating high-quality content.

Following his presentation, students participated in the mini-game “I Ask, You Answer”. This interactive activity created an energetic atmosphere and encouraged peer learning. Three students with the highest number of correct answers received meaningful gifts from the sponsors.

The Workshop continued with an engaging sharing session featuring speakers who are alumni or current students of the Faculty of International Economics. Under the theme “4 Years of Creative Exploration with DAV”, the speakers shared personal stories, career journeys, and valuable experiences in self-development.

Mr. Luu Quang Minh emphasized the importance of self-improvement and continuous learning. He discussed his career pathway and encouraged students to always stay prepared so they can seize opportunities when they arise.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Anh highlighted the need for clear goals and proper prioritization. She stressed the importance of both academic preparation and soft skills for working effectively in an international environment. She also introduced the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) as an effective approach to problem-solving and personal development.

Meanwhile, Ms. Le Nguyen Chi spoke about perseverance and choosing meaningful activities and opportunities to support long-term career goals. She encouraged students to participate in beneficial experiences and build a multidimensional perspective for their future careers.

After the speakers’ presentations, the Workshop transitioned into a Q&A session. The atmosphere became lively as students asked questions and received advice on skill development and career preparation.

The Workshop “Cùng Ngoại giao tỏa sáng” concluded in a warm and inspiring atmosphere. The event equipped students of the Diplomatic Academy with valuable knowledge about AI, soft skills, and career orientation, while also providing opportunities to interact and connect with experienced professionals in various fields.
