ANNOUNCEMENT

ADMISSION SCORES FOR FULL-TIME UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMS OF THE YEAR 2024

Based on the results of the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam

(Admission Method Code: 100)

I. Admission Scores

- Pursuant to the 2024 Admission Plan of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam;

- Pursuant to applications for the Academy’s undergraduate programs submitted under Admission Method 100 based on results of the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam,

The Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam hereby announces the admission scores for applications submitted based on results of the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam (Admission Method Code 100), in accordance with Section 8.4, Part II of the Admission Plan, as follows:

II. Calculation of Admission Scores

1. For the majors: International Relations, International Economics, International Law, International Business, International Communication, Asia–Pacific Studies, and International Commercial Law: Admission scores are calculated on a 30-point scale, consisting of the total of three subject scores plus priority points granted in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training’s regulations (if any). Scores are rounded to two decimal places. 

2. For the English Language major: Admission scores are calculated on a 40-point scale, in which English is weighted ×2, while Mathematics and Literature are weighted ×1, plus priority points granted in accordance with the Ministry of Education and Training’s regulations (if any). Scores are rounded to two decimal places. 

3. Additional Criteria: In cases where the number of candidates meeting the Quality Assurance Threshold exceeds the allocated quota, candidates with identical scores at the cut-off point will be ranked using the following additional criteria:

- Additional Criterion 1: Foreign Language score for subject combinations A01, D01, D03, D04, D06, D07; Literature score for subject combination C00; or Mathematics score for combination A00. 

- Additional Criterion 2: Candidate’s order of preference (priority is given to candidates with a higher preference ranking).
