ANNOUNCEMENT

On the Quality assurance threshold for candidates
applying to the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam

Pursuant to Circular No. 08/2022/TT-BGDĐT dated June 6, 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training promulgating the Regulation on Admission to Undergraduate Programs and Admission to College-level Programs in Early Childhood Education;

Pursuant to Official Dispatch No. 2598/BGDĐT-GDĐH dated 20 June 2022 of the Ministry of Education and Training providing Guidance on Admission to Undergraduate Programs and Admission to College-level Programs in Early Childhood Education;

Pursuant to the 2022 Admission Plan of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam;

Pursuant to the results of the 2022 National High School Graduation Exam,

The 2022 Undergraduate Admissions Council of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam hereby announces the Quality Assurance Threshold for 2022 as follows:

1. For candidates applying under the following admission methods: Priority Admission as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training (Section 8.1, Part II of the Admission Plan); Early Admission based on High School Academic Records (Section 8.2, Part II of the Admission Plan); Early Admission based on High School Academic Records and Interview (Section 8.3, Part II of the Admission Plan); Admission based on the 2022 National High School Graduation Exam Results (Section 8.5, Part II of the Admission Plan): The Quality Assurance Threshold is 22 points (on a 30-point scale, without weighting, including priority points for region and candidate category).

Notes:

- The Quality Assurance Threshold is calculated based on the total score of the three subjects within the candidate’s registered subject combination in the 2022 National High School Graduation Exam.

- This threshold applies to all subject combinations.

- Except for candidates applying based on the National High School Graduation Exam results, the Academy accepts foreign language exemption scores (as stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training) for calculating the Quality Assurance Threshold for the candidates of the remaining admission methods.

2. For candidates who graduated from high school before 2022 and apply for Early Admission based on High School Academic Records (Section 8.2, Part II of the Admission Plan) or Early Admission based on High School Academic Records and Interview (Section 8.3, Part II of the Admission Plan): The Quality Assurance Threshold is calculated according to the threshold applied by the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam in the corresponding year in which the candidate graduated from high school.

3. For candidates applying for Early Admission based on Interview Results (Section 8.4, Part II of the Admission Plan): The Quality Assurance Threshold is 5/10 points, based on the interview results conducted by the Academy.
