Graduates of International Relations have the opportunity to become professional diplomats or foreign affairs experts for various Ministries, Boards, and Sectors. Additionally, International Relations graduates from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam serve as the primary human resource pool recruited for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other foreign affairs agencies. Specifically, students have the opportunity to work at major international organizations (United Nations, European Union, etc.), non-governmental organizations, and foreign embassies in Vietnam. Furthermore, many International Relations alumni are currently working as editors, program producers, and hosts at major television stations and press agencies across the country (VTV, VTC, VNA, VietnamNet, etc.).

For the Professional International Communication concentration, graduates can work for press and media agencies, corporate communication departments, and non-governmental organizations, or start their own agencies or media channels.
