The Faculty of International Law of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) proudly celebrates the impressive achievements of its two representative teams at the 2025 Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition (Stetson Moot). Both teams demonstrated remarkable skill, dedication, and professionalism at this prestigious global moot court event.
Team DAV A, comprising Hán Ngọc Bảo Trân, Nguyễn Hiểu Minh, and Bùi Đức Hải Sơn, achieved 6th place overall in the Regional Round and 7th place in the Written Memorial ranking. Meanwhile, Team DAV B, with members Trần Vân Anh, Lê Hạnh Nhi, and Lê Hoàng Dũng, secured 11th place overall and 6th place in the Written Memorial ranking. These results reflect the teams’ rigorous preparation, strong analytical abilities, and ability to argue complex international environmental law issues under competitive conditions.

The Stetson International Environmental Moot Court Competition, first held in 1996 by Stetson University, is one of the world’s most prestigious academic competitions in environmental law. The competition aims to enhance students’ understanding and practical skills in international environmental law, offering participants opportunities to research and argue on critical global issues such as climate change, biodiversity conservation, transboundary pollution, and state responsibilities in environmental protection.
This year, DAV officially announced that its two high-achieving teams will represent the Academy at the South East Asia Regional Round of the 29th Stetson Moot, which will take place from 16 to 18 January 2025 in Manila, Philippines. Their participation promises to further strengthen DAV’s presence in the international moot court community and showcase the growing expertise of its students in global environmental law.
The success of DAV’s teams at the 2025 Stetson Moot underscores the Faculty’s commitment to fostering practical skills, critical thinking, and international engagement among its students, while inspiring the next generation of legal professionals to tackle complex environmental challenges on the world stage.
