Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam Welcomes Representatives from US Embassy

On August 11, 2021, authorized by the DAV's Acting Director, Ms. Do Tu Hien - Trainee Deputy Chief of Office and Ms. Nguyen Hai Yen - Director of Department of External Cooperation  welcomed Ms. Paula Kitendaugh - Regional Public Engagement Specialist, Mr. Do Le Binh - Director of American Center (AC) to Hanoi and Ms. Pham Thu Trang - AC Assistant visited the DAV to discuss the US Government’s funded project for the construction of the new DAV’s building.

As expected, the US embassy will invest in equipment and interior design for the multi-function room in the new DAV’s building, including tables and chairs, facilities, books, reference materials on international relations, English learning software in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning, to promote American studies as well as to contribute to building a modern and professional training environment at the DAV.

Along with this goal, prior to the US Embassy, many other embassies, such as, Swiss Embassy, Australian Embassy, Chinese Embassy, have contributed funds, interior decoration, equipment, books, and pictures to the DAV.
