On the morning of April 26, the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD) successfully organised the workshop “CV Writing and Interview Skills in the Digital Age”, which attracted strong interest from students across the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.

The event was held as part of the FIPAD Career Orientation Series for Semester 2 of the 2024–2025 academic year.

The workshop was honoured to welcome two highly experienced speakers: Ms. Dam Thi Thu Trang, CEO and Founder of TalentsAll, and Ms. Le Na, Human Resources Manager at Relipa Co. Ltd. The program was also privileged to have the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Anh Tuan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, along with faculty members, contributing to an atmosphere that was both professional and friendly.

In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ha Anh Tuan expressed his delight that the first activity in the FIPAD Career Orientation Series had received such strong engagement from students. He emphasised that in the digital age, CV writing and interview skills are not merely tools for job applications, but the first step for individuals to position themselves and confidently integrate into today’s rapidly evolving labour market.

Throughout the workshop, the speakers shared practical insights into the recruitment landscape, particularly in the marketing sector, which is currently undergoing significant changes due to global shifts such as the U.S.–China trade tensions and the restructuring of international supply chains. The speakers also forecast that in the coming years, careers related to digital marketing will experience major changes, requiring human resources to constantly adapt and upgrade their skillsets.

A special highlight of the program was the live CV review session, where students received direct comments and tailored advice from the speakers on layout, language selection, the development of a professional brand, and how to build a personal profile that aligns with industry-specific job requirements. Additionally, interview skills were presented in detail, equipping students with valuable preparation before entering a real-world working environment.

The workshop also provided an open and interactive space where students confidently asked questions and shared concerns about career orientation and soft skills development. The Organising Committee extends its sincere gratitude to the guest speakers, faculty members, and all participating students for contributing to the success of the program. FIPAD looks forward to continuing to accompany students in future activities.
