Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa contributed 30 million VND to the Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund.

On the morning of January 9, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam held a ceremony to receive a contribution to the Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund from Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa.

The meeting to receive contributions to the Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thin, Vice President of the Diplomatic Academy, along with representatives from various units within the Academy, including the Department of General Affairs, Technical service and Accounting Division and the Students Affairs Office.

Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund

The Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund was established to encourage young talents in their studies. The fund is supported by voluntary contributions from individuals and organizations who wish to assist Diplomatic Academy students with outstanding academic achievements, active community involvement, leadership potential, and scientific research capabilities, while also learning from the qualities, vision, and ideals of the late Foreign Minister Nguyen Co Thach.

On January 9, 2025, Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa contributed 30 million VND to the Nguyen Co Thach Scholarship Fund at the Diplomatic Academy, helping to further develop the fund and inspire a passion for learning among the Academy’s students.

Spreading positivity: The spirit of Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa

Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa, a former staff member at the Foreign Press Guidance Center, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, won the Gold Medal in the 2024 “Happy Vietnam” photo and video contest organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications. With her photograph “Sweet Happiness” in the photo category, she shared a story of positivity and inspiration, encouraging people to overcome life’s challenges and strive toward a brighter future.

During the meeting with representatives of the Academy’s Leadership Board and various units, Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa expressed her desire to spread her spirit of “leaving no one behind.” This was also the reason she decided to donate the prize money she had won, sharing her happiness and providing students at the Academy facing financial difficulties with motivation and hope to pursue their development.

Upon receiving the generous gift and heartfelt support from Ms. Vu Dieu Hoa, Deputy Director Nguyen Thi Thin, on behalf of the Diplomatic Academy, expressed deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to her.
