Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) for the implementation of the program "DynaGen Initiative"
On the afternoon of November 12, 2024, at the Berlin Room of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), the Signing Ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement between the DAV and the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) took place. This agreement aims to develop student activities organized under the host of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy (FIPAD). This partnership marks a new milestone in both scale and quality in arranging extracurricular activities for students of FIPAD in particular and the Diplomatic Academy in general.
Attendees from the DAV included: Ambassador. Dr Pham Lan Dung, Acting President of the DAV, presided over the event; Mr. Hoang Van Hanh, Deputy Head of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Training; Dr. Le Thi Ngoc Han, Deputy Dean of the Department of International Politics and Diplomacy; Mr. Nguyen Tuan Hiep, Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Management; and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Thi Thuy, Acting Head of the Journal Division, Department of Science, Information and International Studies Journal. Representing the For Vietnamese Stature Foundation were Mrs. Tran Hong Diep, Director of the Foundation, and Mr. Vu Xuan Thai, Student Program Manager. Faculty members from FIPAD and student representatives from the DAV were also present.
During the event, the DAV and VSF exchanged and clarified additional details of this cooperation and discussed the Foundation’s potential support for future activities and projects for DAV students.
In her remarks, Ambassador Dr. Pham Lan Dung, Acting Director of the DAV, expressed delight and appreciation for the Cooperation Agreement and VSF's commitment to accompany the Academy and CTQT&NG in organizing activities that foster comprehensive knowledge and skills development for students, such as the FIPAD Forum+, The D.I.P Game, SEAmulation, DAV MOCK MUN, and the Student Career Guidance Program.
Ambassador, Dr. Pham Lan Dung is confident that the cooperation between the DAV and the Vietnam Value Foundation will not only enable students to develop their personal skills but also contribute positively to the community and society.
In response, Ms. Tran Hong Diep, Director of the Vietnam Value Foundation, emphasized that the “Dynagen Initiative” Student Development Program is dedicated to supporting soft skill development initiatives within the student community, enhancing capacity and providing opportunities for young people to develop comprehensively. VSF is committed to providing financial support, as well as human resources and advisory experts, for projects and initiatives that contribute to the growth of the student community in general and DAV students in particular.
In addition, VSF representatives also suggested the possibility of future cooperation between the two sides to support expertise and resources for projects related to sustainable development, focusing on key issues such as environmental protection, promoting gender equality, and other innovative initiatives for community benefit.
This partnership promises to generate significant positive value, contributing to the development of a generation of students who are not only professionally skilled but also sensitive to social and community issues, aiming to become global citizens.
Following the ceremony, Dr. Le Thi Ngoc Han, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, led the VSF delegation on a tour of the Department’s offices and discussed further specific cooperation initiatives between VSF and FIPAD./.
