🌟 Among the annual admissions counseling events of the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam - DAV Open House is perhaps the most anticipated, especially for high school students, particularly K51 Wannabes.

At the event, candidates not only get to tour what could be their future campus, but also experience mock classes taught by DAV lecturers from different faculties and majors. In addition, they can take part in exciting activities organized by student clubs and interact directly with current DAV students, gaining a more authentic insight into campus life.

“If I had to choose three words to describe DAV Open House, they would be “Passionate”, “Professional” and “Meticulous”. To deliver the best possible experience for K51 Wannabes, the Organizing Committee began preparations more than a month in advance to ensure everything was fully ready to welcome the students. Every aspect of the event was carefully and thoughtfully planned. And of course, what truly mattered was the passion and excitement of meeting the future faces of DAV in the coming year.
At DAV Open House, the activity I look forward to the most is the trial class. This is where K51 Wannabes get the chance to experience and truly “test” the quality of teaching at DAV firsthand. They can attend actual courses from different majors, taught directly by lecturers from each faculty. I believe this is a truly one-of-a-kind admissions activity among universities in Hanoi, helping students better understand their desired fields and challenge themselves academically.

Having once been a Grade 12 student myself, studying day and night for the university entrance exam, I truly understand how difficult and exhausting this period can be. Still, give it your very best and don’t give up while you still can. I look forward to seeing you all at DAV!”

“If we had to choose three words to describe our experience preparing for and participating in DAV Open House 2023, they would be “Meaningful”, “Creative”, and “Highly anticipated”. The program offers high school students a valuable opportunity to experience and gain a deeper understanding of the learning environment at DAV. I believe that many students, just like myself two years ago, will attend DAV Open House and begin nurturing their dream of becoming DAV students!

Two years ago, when I participated in DAV Open House, the most exciting activity for me was the DAV Tour. During the tour, senior students guided us around the campus, from academic buildings and the library to various functional facilities. This helped me better understand the Academy’s infrastructure and made me even more eager to one day leave my own footprints in every corner of the school. More importantly, I had the chance to meet and talk with current students, truly feeling their enthusiasm and the distinctive diplomatic demeanor that defines DAV!

“Three words I would use to describe my experience at DAV Open House are “Exciting”, “Refreshing” and “Useful”. I’ve been interested in DAV since high school, so as soon as I heard that the Academy was hosting Open House, I signed up right away. That day was my very first time visiting the campus. I found it beautiful, with modern and well-invested facilities. The Organizing Committee members were also incredibly friendly, guiding me around the booths and student clubs.

At DAV Open House, I joined two mock classes in International Law and English Language. Even now, I still clearly remember the lecture on Maritime Boundaries delivered by Ms. Lan Anh. The legal knowledge she shared was truly fascinating. It was that very lecture that inspired me to choose International Law as my first preference. I am now studying International Law, and I’m proud to be an International Law student.”

“To describe my experience at DAV Open House, I would choose three words: real - authentic - impactful. The program gave me a very “real” sense of diplomacy through the DAV Tour, helping me better understand the learning environment and curriculum through mock classes. What left the deepest impression was the unique “authenticity” of the people at DAV. The experiences at DOH were truly “impactful”, inspiring me to become part of the Academy, a student carrying the “DAV spirit”, and fortunately, I achieved that. If I had been hesitant before attending DOH, after just one day of experience, I became completely certain about my future plans.

At DAV Open House, I had the opportunity to join IC1D - One-Day Experience as an International Communication student in the Faculty of International Communication and Culture. Experiencing mock classes and interacting directly with faculty and current students played a significant role in my decision to choose International Communication as my major. Therefore, I highly recommend this program to any students interested in the Communication field. If you get the chance to attend DOH, make sure to try IC1D!”
