On September 15th, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs office building, 2 Le Quang Dao Street (Hanoi), students majoring in Japanese Studies participated in a flower arrangement experience organized by the Sansenryu Ikebana Art Office. Under the guidance of artist Endo Yuko, the founder of this school, students had the opportunity to explore the exquisite beauty of Japanese flower arrangement art.

Through this experience, the Japanese Studies students learned that there are currently over 500 different Ikebana schools in Japan. While traditional schools require strict adherence to rules regarding shape, composition, and flower selection, Sansenryu emphasizes creative freedom. The most important aspect of Sansenryu is arranging flowers with all one's heart. Every movement requires absolute concentration, as each flower symbolizes an important person in one's life.

The flower arrangement session, themed "Our Compatriots Are Like Branches of Flowers," aimed to express solidarity with the Vietnamese people affected by Typhoon No. 3. It wasn't just an opportunity to arrange chrysanthemums and roses, but also a moment of reflection, allowing everyone to turn their thoughts to family, friends, their Chura Chura home, and their beloved homeland, Vietnam.

Now, let's look back at some memorable "healing" moments from that experience!
