On October 16, 2025, the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV) and the Viet Nam Academy of Social Sciences (VASS) jointly organized the 4th International Sinology Symposium under the theme “the Role of China in Global Science and Technology Cooperation”. The event was co-sponsored by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), the Foundation for East Sea Studies (FESS), and the Embassy of Canada in Viet Nam, and continued the success of the China Talk series initiated in 2013.

On the afternoon of October 8, 2025, at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Vice President of the Academy, received H.E. Didier Le Bret, Director of the Diplomatic and Consular Academy at the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, on the occasion of his visit and working trip to Viet Nam.

On the afternoon of September 22, 2025, at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam (DAV), Dr. Nguyen Hung Son, President of the Academy, received H.E. James Nickel, Ambassador of Canada to Viet Nam, on the occasion of the Ambassador’s courtesy visit and discussion on future cooperation with the Academy.

On the morning of August 12, 2025, at the Diplomatic Academy of Viet Nam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan Anh, Vice President of the Academy, received and chaired an academic presentation by Dr. Robert Floyd, Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO). The event, attended by the Academy’s research and teaching staff, was part of Dr. Floyd’s working visit to Viet Nam alongside a CTBTO expert delegation.
